Hi,

I've been around for a month and I made some changes to optimize my board.
I start it with a new design, then vBSeo and finally a new logo more travel related.

After this changes, my SERP's are the same but the visitor are less than use to be ... I'll wait some more time to see where it goes, many people aren't searching for vacations at this time :(

For now I would like you opinion as a traveler searcher if the overall design is appealing and invite visitor to participate.

Any recommendations will be accepted

The language is Portuguese and the ads are only for guests.

I like your site template. Very clean with good use of whitespace.

I would like to see you get some permanent introduction text on your homepage. It should always be at the top, above the threads you are displaying.

The title on your homepage and the forum page should be different. At minimum you should add the word "Forum" to the next page to differentiate it.

I do not ready Spanish, despite living in Puerto Rico, but so far your site looks very good, and it appears that you have already followed many of our recommendations.

2. Change that in FORUMHOME template already
3. I forgive you ... it's Portuguese European! Puerto Rico ... I already know who I going to talk when my members need some tips about this destination

Now just need some more traffic since I getting less than before summer!

1. Like an introduction to your site that stays at the top all the time. Right now it seems like you have some featured *posts* there, but an intro to your site is always there and is carefully written to get coverage on your most important keywords.

3. Oops. I *really* do not know Spanish or Portuguese!

Hi Joe,

You are saying something like "You are at forum name. We are a community blabla we like travel bla bla bla. more keyword related, etc!"

Isn't this too repetitive for google?

I would not write it exactly like that, although this is the common format many forums follow. Sounds like a grade 5 essay.

Write it more like a magazine ad with interesting writing & interesting integration of keywords. Link up some of the keywords directly to your sub-forums or content & Google (and your visitors) will love it.

Sorry about so many questions, but I never seen this in other forums, so I don't know how it should be setup? Do you have any example?

Can you explain me what are the advantages of having this in all pages against not having?

Actually, each forum categories description (except threads) show the exact terms that I placed at the vB forum description.

Since I'm repeating the same text over and over, will my descriptions in google remain the same?

If I implement this, should I remove welcome headers for guests or just replace it?

The example is attached. what do you think?

Note: I did not mean to place this on "all pages". It should only be placed, *permanently* at the top of your *homepage*. Sorry for the confusion. I did not describe it very well.

I prefer not to repeat the *sub-forum description* at the top of thread pages.

Yes - you could do that. I would keep it as "text" on the homepage, and use it as an image everywhere else on the forum.
