    What am I doing wrong?

    Not sure what I am doing wrong....I have used vbseo on other of my sites before for radar detectors and within a couple of months was able to easily get on page 1 of google for keyword "Radar Detector Reviews" I decided to start a new website on a different domain...been around 2 months...and my ranking stinks...in my vbseo sitemap i have over 1,100 links in it and only 367 are indexed with google. I am not ranking well on any keywords like I usually do... was hoping someone could take a look and see what I might be doing wrong? I am trying to rank well for keywords "Radar Detector Reviews" and "Speed Traps"

    YOU NEED TO POST NEW THREADS : 204 thread in your forum that's can't give much visitors from google. post new threads daily is your way to get new visitors in a short time.

    Some additional tips to the old critique thread :

    Good!

    Some more tips

    change home.php to index.php and rename the forum index (index.php) to forum.php

    And Create new vBSEO CRR to redirect forum.php to "forums/"

    Agreed. The biggest thing for you now is content. post post post! fill your empty forums with a general instruction post or something so they don't look empty (the geographic region forums).

    Another issue is that since you replace the login box with an ad and move it to the left sidebar, on pages where there is no left side bar (basically every other page) there is no login link or box anywhere.

    Ok got all of that done, thank you very much! As far as create new custom rewrite rules for vbseo where would I find the code I need? I checked all the links on my site and everything seems to be working fine, but as far as google index pages I hope this doesnt effect it much?

    I added the side login box to the "forum display" page as well, let me know what you think?

    top link duplicates the forum link. i assume you want the top link to direct to root, not to the forum

    Getting there

    Your CSS is still in-line, not linked.
    [How To] Move CSS to file system

    You're also using an h2 without an h1, which is technically invalid.

    I'd look into using an image replacement technique for your header graphic instead of just shoving the h2 ( which should be an h1) up top.

    instead of this mess:

    Code:
     <h2>Speed Traps &amp; Radar Detector Reviews</h2> <table cellpadding="6" cellspacing="4" border="0" width="100%" align="center"> <tr> <td align="center" valign="top"><img src="http://www.aradardetector.com/images/misc/radar-hdr.jpg" border="0" alt="Speed Traps &amp; Radar Detector Reviews" /> </td> </tr> </table>
    use this:

    Code:
    <h1 id="hlogo">Speed Traps &amp; Radar Detector Reviews</h1>
    and place this in your Main CSS (at the bottom) in the extra fields:

    Code:
    #hlogo {
    margin: 0 auto 0 auto;
    background: url(/images/misc/radar-hdr.jpg) no-repeat center center;
    width: 100%;
    height: 208px;
    text-indent: -999999px;
    }
    as this is untested, note, you might need to change the url to include /forums/ in the front of it background: url(/forums/images/misc/radar-hdr.jpg) no-repeat center center;
    not sure what your true path is.

    I think I got it? If this is correct would be great as before I had the text at the top of the page which looks tacky but was there for SEO. Can you verify

    Yup, looks good

    It's Seo-friendly (text based, but hidden off margin WAYYY to the left ) and user friendly (graphic view).

    Now, move that CSS to the filesystem
