How long has it been since you set up all the private forums? If you recently closed those forums off to guests, that could be causing the drop.

I suppose there is a valid reason for hiding so much of your content, but when the search engines can't see it, they sure can't index it. Your NFUSION RECEIVERS category has over 75,000 posts and only 362 of them are accessible.

Is there a way to allow search engines to view = index -without having them as guests?

    Thank you very much !

Google operates a policy where it will only index pages that can been seen by non logged in members.

If you try and get round that, it can be seen as black hat seo which is not good if google decides to drop you for it.

    Hi Brock,

What was your decision? Are going to open up private forums back to the public?

Hello Joe, and thank you for your interest.

We have just migrated to new servers but still have major issues with VBEO. In fact, it is not working at all.

We use Rackspace as we have out grown our hosting company.

We would like to get this running ASAP and more importantnly we would like VBSEO running 100%. I have use the " GURU" settings , and we are at a loss as to why we are not doing well.

Your product(s) seem to be the best outr there, but we need assistance.

    Thank you

    Lester

    Thumbs up Re install.... URGENT

    Hello Joe,

As mentioned in my ticket, we have migrated to a new server(s) from Rackspace.com / Messo.com as we have out grown our existing hosting company. I have submitted a ticket with the require FTP information for a senior member to re install.... -hopefully-

After the migration, we are experiencing alot of technical difficulties, including broken links, that we belive is from VBSEO.

We turns off mod, after mod until we discovered VBSEO was not migrated over correcectly becuase of the new directory structures.

I believe it maybe better to reinstall this ( VBSEO) based on config php directory structures on the new server etc....

We have purchase the license with the install, and if need be we are prepared to pay for the re install.

This matter is urgent, and we also would like for VBSEO to be configured correctly on on our forum for maximum expose to the engines.

    Thank you again,

    Lester

    Hi Lester,

I see that you have purchased our installation service. Please create a new ticket (if you have not yet done so) requesting your installation and our Total Support Team will take care of it as soon as they discover your ticket.

    Hi Joe, Mike?

Any idea when this might be re installed?

    Thanx

    Nfusionforum.

We have disabled the VBSEO as the HTML links are all broken. Also, we have the latest upgrades to Vbulletin 3.8.1 as of 01/28/09

    Thanks everyone !
