vBSEO Site Of The Month

Just an idea.. It will be a great if vBSEO considers a VSOTM Each month, one happy, lucky vBSEO user gets their site anointed the SOTM (Site of the Month!).

The winner each month will be the site with the best vBSEO set up, design and the highest average votes. They will get the honor of being declared the new vBSEO Site of the Month! So we can all learn and follow their example.
The winner could also get a little prize which could be a custom review from your staff or simply get to choose one of a special vBSEO logo to put on their site

I'm just thinking out loud, but this could be a good idea.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

I don't see this working very well at vB.org so I'm not sure it would work well here either. AT vB.org, what seems to happen is once a site is nominated and makes it to the final 5, the site owners rally their eligible members to vote for them and it becomes a contest of who can get the most friends and members in to cast a vote. I have personally seen this in action and have been contacted and asked to vote by certain forum owners.

As a result, the eventual BOTM or BOTY has nothing to do with the merit of the site, either from a design viewpoint or a community viewpoint. It's merely a measure of self-promotion and/or popularity among eligible voters (i.e., those members and friends with access to vBulletin.org).

I can't see any reason to assume it would work any better here.

I share the same view, but mistakes can and should be avoid.
vBSeo Staff can define new rules and run away from BOTM as we know.
