another thing that I like to do is..
I see on your home page you only have 3 links, one being an external, and I see you are using your archive for vBulletin.
vbseo does a nice thing with the archive links in the footer to guest (it's near the bottom in vbseocp.php) I like to grab a html copy of those links and put them in the footer of my main page, if I have a setup like you have now.

let me know if you can decipher my ramblings

Right, you want me to take part of the vbseocp.php file and install it into the index.htm for the main page.

Do you have an example of what this will do?
