Your forum looks great, but the attached section is just one big blob of text. I didn't bother to read it. I know you probably have good information there. It's just not something that is going to entice visitors to spend anytime reading.
Consider replacing it with something like the feature block in use here:

This is our "Footer Archive Links" feature. You can change the settings in vbseocp.php.
