    Requesting Critique

    Hey everyone,

I have a very small forum... just starting up and since setting up vbseo (about 2 or 3 weeks ago) I have only had 1 page indexed (according to my google.com/sitemaps acct.) I understand this may be a time thing... Other pages on the site (not in the forums) are indexed almost immediately so I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or if this is something that just takes time.

Any thoughts or constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,
    Jay

I urgently recommend you to get fresh backlinks. And especially social bookmarks can help your indexes to increase.

Change your title. Be CONCISE, not spammy.
If you're targeting san diego, you need to put more focus there. If you're not, you need to put less focus there.

POST POST POST. that is the number 1 key to starting a forum. Even if you're talking to yourself or asking questions you already know the answer to. THINK about what an amateur running/triathelete would search for.
'best shoes for triathalon' etc. Get those long tail search phrases as thread titles and you'll be on your way.
