    redesigned.... feedback?

Well.... this time, the redesign was to unclutter and simplify as much as possible.

Web Design Forums - Web design and development help and discussion

It's simple by design, but hopefully has a good balance of SEO, functionality and aesthetics.

In use, is also a 'high res' style, which can be selected from the style switcher near the footer.

    Any feedback is welcome.

(still working on some SEO things, so it may change a little over next few days)

Looks good to me. I think the only thing i would change is how you have the very top rounded. I would carry that down to the bottom. I just noticed how when viewing topics Thread Tools vbmenu_register("threadtools"); You have to click on it twice to get the bottom arrow to pop up.

I took a peek during the dev proccess last week. I notice that you changed the right column approach for your thread options back to the default dropdown.

Although the "in-progress" implementation was not the most elegant thing I've seen , the usability improvement IMO, was 300X better than the thread tools dropdown concept.

How about this for better usability without the right column?

I like it.... would need to hide most/all of it for non members, as the right column aimed to get all the off-topic, mundane same old, crappy tools, dhtml, etc.... toward the end of source. In this case they are close to the beginning (exactly what I moved away from), but I do like it.

Has given me food for thought anyway.
