I don't understand what is wrong with the speed for some people. A person in Sweden reported that the site was almost instant. Thanks for the compliment .

I think you've done a great job with the template, although I do not like the background.

You need to create more contrast. Maybe you should choose a solid color a few shades darker in some other complimentary color tone.

Also: The page did seem to load quite slow for me.

I agree with what Joe says. I was thinking maybe a darker blue/purple? I'm colorblind so Idk if you have blue or purple on your site lol

And yeah, the page took about 20 seconds to load for me. Be sure you are utilizing a caching system.
