New Here... Critique Wanted

I just installed the vbseo only 3 or 4 days ago. Very nice. I've been wanting to for a while, but never made the leap.

The sale pushed me over the edge though

It's a personal webpage that's turned into a fairly userfull and busy web forum for paintball and related content.

I don't monetize the site very well, and I know that. Custom skin, but kept simple...

Thoughts, suggestions? What should be my next steps on making it a larger site?

You'll probably want to do some keyword research and consider renaming some of your forums, or at least modifying the descriptive text (the latter will not require any 301s).

One thing I noticed is that your domain name does not indicate what your site is about. When I visited, I expected it to be handguns. I think you should make it clear in your header graphic that your forum is, in fact, about the sport of Paintball.

Yeah.. it was a personal site that TURNED into what it is... I didn't set out trying to make it into this, just sort of happened.

Figured since I had a following, I might as well try and work with it. Good idea on the descriptions.
