    MFG Forums

    I recently moved from Community Server to vB and vBSEO with the sitemap option. Before SE indexing is finished, if anyone has ideas on how I can improve things further, please let me know:

    My first recommendation would be to work on a nice skin. Visitors to your forum are probably going to be more interested in a more graphical/vibrant experience.

    Yes, I completely agree. However, although I'm a decent programmer, I'm a terrible graphic designer. Any suggestions on where to find some high-quality skins? I've looked around the web quite a bit, and most of what I've seen has been very boring.

    Well - you could choose a fairly basic skin (something simple like our skin), or something else available.

    However, then you could pay a graphics developer to come up with a really cool header, and some additional graphics to place in strategic places throughout the template to make it look much better.

    I think paying for a full skin design, might be a bit of overkill and possible more expensive than necessary to get a professional looking site.
