    Just installed vbSEO

I've just imported my forum into vb and installed vbseo.

Any suggestions for how I can improve things?

I know there are lots of things I can improve -- where to start?

    I like your layout!

Just at a glance, I think you can take the CSS and JavaScript and move it to another page to help the code to content ratio and such. It should be a setting in the vBulliten settings (maybe in the vbseocp, i don't remember.)

    Agree, nice and lean layout.

    I suggest enabling this option:
    Direct Category Links?
And perhaps look into the Relevant Replacements feature for creating top of page relevant content. H1/H2 headers would be nice too.

Can you point me to site using RR that looks clean? or better yet, the same as does now?

The ones I saw before were kind of bulky.

Thanks guys! I've taken a lot of that advice on board now -- they're simple changes, (it only took two minutes to implement it), and hopefully they will make a big difference.

I'm off to explore RR and H1/H2 headers now. Not sure what that means yet.

You just installed yesterday, way too soon to look for any "real" results. Make sure you also install vbSEO Sitemap and get you sitemaps submitting to Google/Yahoo. Then, sit tight and keep your settings consistent. Changing things around will only hurt your SEO efforts.

It's back up to 4/10 now too. Does it normally dance around? I don't normally look at it.

How do I set up the sitemap?

When you download the sitemap stuff from the downloads section the built in "readme.txt" file is all you will need i think.

Could you explain to me more what that features does to my forum?
