| # of Indexed Pages Dropping Like a Rock
I installed vBSEO about a month ago. For a while briefly last month my site had thousands of indexed pages in Google and traffic peaked at that time, then it dropped back below 200 pages indexed and has been declining steadily ever since. Now it says 107 pages indexed but it only actually shows three of them -- site:mapforums.com - Google Search Is this typical? Maybe there is something I am doing wrong? Fluctuations are common place. Stick with it.

it doesn't appear to be a fluctuation, more of a steady decrease. :-( I don't think it is vBSEO that caused the drop, I am worried it might be my backlinks / inbound links. I have some other sites such as mp2kmag.com that appear to have a google penalty right now ?? Anyway, if you could take a look I'd appreciate it. Yahoo! Site Explorer Any other advice? a few suggestions from me would be to take advantage of the Relevant Replacements and the archive links in the footer features that are part of vbseo.. just for starters |
