Graphic: more actractive without changing template?

Hello,
I'd like to change some colours or some little things in the style (color navbar? background? etc.) in my forum (baltazar .it). I uploaded some differents templates but my user don't like the structure changes.

Anyone could give me some suggestion about the skin? Which colours/other modifications do you suggest?

About your forum design
I think you need to Professional Design (the Professional Design is who talking about your forum content and threads)
For example : my forum is romance of course i will design new style about (Romance)

Thanks, I understand, but at the moment I don't wont to re-build the template, but only make some minor changements for a better look, for example change colour of navbar or of background, change buttons, etc.

Try vBSEO Style on your forum i sure this will be very nice and make your changes on it (Header,Forums Images...etc)
