Gaming Community Critique - Cybernetic Punks

Hello all, I officially installed VBSEO as of about yesterday but none the less I'd like you guys to check out my site and tell me right off the bat what I can do to accomodate VBSEO and hopefully expedite its progress. Prior to installation of vBSEO the sites been up and running since May 17th.

The site just got re-skinned as of yesterday so some of my front page links don't work because its still getting worked on i.e. Podcast/Radio etc.

I'll be getting google analytics all set up and posting my progress as the time progress its just a bit to early now.

First of all good work Ali

    Additional tips :

    • I'm recommended to rewrite "/forums.php" to "/forums/" with vBSEO CRR (That's what vBSEO Team do here in vbseo.com rewrite the forum.php to forums/)
    • I'm recommended to change the vBulletin's default forum keywords you need to change them from your admincp
    • It will not be good to add your site URL in your forum description
    • Add your site to DMOZ Directory
    • Add your site to Yahoo directory (The free one is enough )

Hi, I'm helping Kreeper with a few of these changes but had a few questions. First snag i've run into is with the forums.php, problem being vbseo, vbadvanced and vbulletin were all installed into the root folder, by chance any suggestions what I would have to do to move this over to a /forum or /forums folder? I've tried editing the vbadvanced and vbulletin options to the new location but i think vbseo is causing this not to work after I move the files.

Sorry, I didn't see your account as licensed member, You can contact one of vBSEO Team with your forum URL and payment transaction id.

If you already have an licensed account here in vbseo.com please reply again with your questions.

I didn't know if this will make any problem between me and the vBSEO Team because as you know here in vbseo.com didn't help the unlicensed members. and I'm a happy friend to vBSEO Team and I didn't want to make any problem with them

Just wait until one of the team come and see what they will do

Kreeper, please add your support team members to your customer profile: http://www.vbseo.com/usercp/customer_profile/ at the bottom. This will ensure they receive support from us in the forums.

vb/vba installed in the same root directory is not an issue. You do not (and i suggest you don't) have to move to /forums.

What exactly is the problem you are having?

The problem being, if I do a rewrite rule for forums.php to /forums/ it doesn't work because /forum/ isn't a directory. So in our situation I would have to use forums.php to / for the rewrite rule to work. Which breaks vBA because if you goto the root page, it takes you to the forums.
