Taking notes as I look through here - hopefully it will end up coherent.
1) I see you have a ton of forums, and a lot with < 50 threads. I'm more of the mindset that you start small and then split things up, but I think I'm in the minority.
2) Great speed on the forum right now. Fast load time. Excellent!
3) You've been around half as long and have twice the membership as me. Good job!
4) Might want to edit your titles for view single post.
5) Ads aren't too intrusive, and they fit in well, but they seem to be numerous given the size of the community. Maybe they are slimmed down a little when you log in. Regular users get blind to ads quickly, so I try to keep them out of the way and occasionally remind people about them without being too obvious.
6) I've never seen much value in legends and posting rules. I think they distract from the page in general and they do distract from the textual content of the page for sure.
Looks like you've been working hard and I wish you luck. I'd appreciate a recipricol review of my forum. And for anybody reading this, I'd be happy to return the favor if you give me a few of your thoughts regarding my forum as well. It's great to hear from other webmasters.

My Forum: StopMomStop - a place where mom's can take a break and help others to become better moms.
The design is simple, I think the colour of the logo is not quite fit with the other part of the forum, and the ads are a little too much.
- I think your forum title is overloaded with keywords.
- You should work to further customize your template.
- I would remove the "Discuss here about..." from your forum descriptions.
- I don't think you should include the forum descriptions on your thread pages. Try using relevant replacements instead.
- I think you should replace your showpost link with permalink (vBSEO option).
