    Critique please

    This last month has been a very steep learning curve. I've been reading loads and hope that I'm getting it right but I'm looking forward to hearing about the horrible errors I've probably made

    My sitemaps show far fewer urls than I think they should be showing so I'd appreciate help with that too if it's within the scope of the critique.

    The forum is here:

    Hitler Youth Forum

    It's a collector/historian forum.

    Edit:

    My colour scheme is hiding the vbulletin stuff at the bottom of the screen but it's more to do with not being able to set the colours in that area than with any desire to hide it.

    Marco can you tell me which file I need to amend in order to correct the keywords please?

    Edit:

    Yes, I do have the vbseo sig at bottom left but it's invisible unless you hover over it. I need to adjust my colours there but if I do it changes the appearance of the page.

    Is redirecting hj-research.com/ to hj-research.com/forum in my cpanel enough or do I need to do something in vbseo too?

    Still can't find the file which contains the incorrectly punctuated keywords..

    Anyone?

    Hello,

    Sorry For My late reply I had some problem in my connection

    Keywords
    hj;hitler youth;
    that's wrong it should be
    hj,hitler youth,
    Are you see that ? i separate for each word with , not ;

    Redirect :
    i didn't mean you should redirect your site home page to the forum
    Check Out this thread : [How to] Setup www.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com (www vs. non-www) - With .htaccess 301 redirects

    Okay, I've read the thread Marco but my newbiness isn't allowing me to understand it Would you be able to give me a walk-through?

    I have two .htaccess files. One is in www (empty) and the other is in forum.

    I assume that the purpose of the redirect is to make Hitler Youth Forum the site which Google concentrates on as opposed to seeing that AND hj-research.com/?

    If you want to use www you can add the following lines in your .htaccess file
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.com
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
    Change example to your site URL

    But if you want to use your site without www you can use the following lines
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www\.example\.com$
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://example.com/$1 [L,R=301]
    Also change example to your forum URL
