I did with my best some settings. Take a look please
Webmaster Sitesi | Gelecee Webmaster Yetitirir! Webmaster Forumu I have 60.000+ wm members. and i rank on alexa 115 in the country.

I have there 9000 posts already done there. I always be respectful and good behave my members. So it grew like this recent in 3 years. And I teach new wms about seo and basic programming help with my team. The main visitors pretty young people. So kept the design so.

Any recommendation will be highly appreciated. I believe learning must continue in all life.

Having all your forum content in the footer (paginated) helps spiders crawl all your content easily, correct?

What mod is that?

Yes it helps spider to reach the content. It's not a mod but a function at vbseo. You can enable it vbseo admincp bottom footer archive links section. I show it only for guests (spiders). I tested when i not used it my traffic lowered interestingly.

Can you please tell me the steps in vbseo to implement this pagination in the footer for spiders/guest?

Also, is this actually achieves because I have that disabled and that it was bad for SEO.

1) locate "Footer Archive Links" sections at vbseo cpanel
2) There is five options there you choose Links to Archive main page (Only fr guest)
3) Save and then check after log out from your vbulletin forum if you see the numbers at footer area.

Seo is an art some people no use archive links some uses. It's depend on your experience. I observed quite abit increased bot and real traffic when i use it.

There is another advantage of using it you can control the spiders you can backlink these archive pages and spider can better crawl your site. Or you can link some of them and those content more sppear higher then other part of the site.

If it was directly it would be much better for seo, but i thought at the beginnig if there is ddos attacks i can place this homepage a firewall rule that one must click and enter the site tihs way. Other visitors not clicked this link would be denied. We have some heavy ddossers botnets, what a pity. So they don't suprise much.

I would like you to enable this vBSEO feature "Homepage Settings" it's under SEO functions and add these 2 lines in the white box

index.php
index.php?

With this way you will get 2 advantages :

1. You will get 1 page for your forum home, In the past you was able to view your homepage with / or index.php or index.php? which is can be a duplicate content ... Because they are all is the same content.
2. You will get all of your pagerank at your forum root / for example if you have pr 1 on index.php and 0 pr on / and 1 pr on index.php? so you will get your pagerank in one place ... Search engines will focus and add the pr to only your site root which will increase your site page rank.

Possible More ... But that's all what in my mind now

Yes it's on for me.

Last year, i intended to use a welcome forum page i had to disable this settings. Otherwise it made conflict. I understand what you say my welcome page is pr4 and index.php is pr3 and they are two different urls. But i again there is cannonical tag released which is i believe do the same job. I'll still try to use this function in low traffic time. It's thousands visitors online again Anymore suggestion welcome?

along with this question... what are your vB's Archive Options settings in vbseo?

You should disable vBulletin archive links from your forum footer.
