Could you give my site good looking?

I'd like to get some criticism of my site, yes I don’t mind the hard facts, give it to me straight. Oh and some nice stuff if you like it.

If you could check vbseo is working correctly that would be good (first install).

Many thanks (not so many thanks to anyone unduly harsh).

Login button on the left if your a guest is under the left menu.
I personaly dont like the large heading with the adverts as it pushes the forum down but can understand why you have it. Perhaps bump the amazon one to the bottom?
I see you opted for a different url structure not bringing the thread title into the url?

The large heading has its good and bad points. I will probably remove the ad space just above the forum, it doesn't do much throughout the site and would look better without it.

I went with Brian’s ultimate guide regarding the url structure because I want to be able to change titles without changing the urls plus other possible issues like duplicate/similar urls, I also don't believe it makes that much, if any difference.

    You site looks great.

The design is quality. I've checked soome of the features you have.

I love the CSS menu on top and the one on the left side.
Can you share where you find, or how did you implement that side left menu. I noticed it also stays on current item while browsing.

Also team News | Table | Results below login form is outstanding. I love it and I would appreciate if you can inform how you achieved something like that. Where does it pull data from.

I am stats geek and I love it.

As for onpage optimization, I think you are good. You have heading tags set up correctly, light images, etc.

I also agree that you should probably have less ads, as they take away the interest of users from your actual content.

Overall, I'd say the site is 4/5.

The top menu is from cssplay
The side menu is achieved by putting the forum into a table with a td on the left side and using plugins for menu’s with if statements depending on the forum title.

Have a look at the source, you can copy the box, javascript and css (can’t remember where I got the javascript)
News comes via “feed on feed” and the stats are from my databases

    It will soon be gone.
