    SEO and vBSEO Settings

Burnley Web is a discussion forum for the town of Burnley, Lancashire, England.

I recently converted it to IPB but due to missing vBSEO and being used to VB I moved back.

I just want to check how the SEO is for the forum, i've read some tips and need more. I'm using the default vBulletin style as default but users can choose other styles.

I'm not prepared to critique vb4 yet. :X I haven't even installed it anywhere yet.
but, since vbseo doesn't work on vb4 yet, you're losing all your old links, and a double conversion, and then when vbseo 3.5 comes out, new links again... You're going to be picking up from day one a couple times.

Sorry posted this before I decided to change to vB4. I've not uninstalled vBSEO either so i'm hoping when the upgrade comes, things will be well.

The current release, vBSEO 3.3.2, is NOT compatible with vb4. Even if installed, it will not work properly.

Yes I know that, that's why I have it disabled and i've removed the .htaccess file from the server.

Ok, just making sure, your previous post seemed to point the other way:
