Welcome to the moderators ranks.

Rather than welcome you specifically in the welcome thread, I thought I would pass a few comments to threads that you have participated in. So seeing this, lets give you a hand.

I have just finished SEO'ing the fab www.Turkforum.net and survived without knowing any Turkish. The site has some server issues at the moment, and the windows server they are using has yet to be setup to enable vBSEO again... You Turkish are great at DoS on popular sites. What a political country, even some sites are banned by ISP's. Interesting all the differences in culture, fun actually. I have had some fun banter with some of the members on their site. Had to get them to interpret when they regressed to their mother toungue .

Your site:

• Great design
• Love the favicon
• Love the drop down menus, but it does raise an interesting question. You have used javascript rather than css menus. Now this means that the html is smaller, and the remainder of your page is higher in the html. So Javascript is good on this basis. But Google of course does not follow javascript...
• Interesting how you have decided to replace the foreign characters rather than use the Turkish characters in the url. I worked hard with vBSEO to get the Turkish characters working in the URL - some of them are over 255 ASCI, so they had to be replaced by their equivalent. Now the %bla's in the address bar don't look too hot, but they do look great on Google, and Google highlights them well. So its an interesting argument both ways. Would be keen to hear your opinion.
• You definately need better onpage SEO! See my thread on Search Engine Optimize vBulletin 3.5. Research what phrases Turkish people are looking for, and specifically optimize for those phrases. If you consider that people are looking for Ayyas, then have that repeated in your meta description, and have it mentioned in the text of your opening paragraph on your home page. Consider other words/phrases that people would be interested in seeing your site for.
• SEO'ing vBulletin is my job, so if you would like to contract me for onpage SEO of your site, sweet.

Bottom line, if you are going to be helping other sites, then you need to understand onpage SEO sometime. See what you can learn from my thread. vBSEO gets the website foundation correct. But its up to you to get the onpage SEO done well.

I already told Juan about it the problem about Turkey is that nobody has any respect to anothers work. There are bunch of unlicensed vBulletin and there are bunch of sites distrubuting vbulletin hacks. First of all i hate it and try to report all of them one by one to vbulletin but it is not working pretty good because they found a solution by moving their hosts or server to Russia or China. There was a site named forumtr.com and this site is the first site that has been banned by ISP's. There are several reason for these bans. Distrubuting mp3 , child porn and etc... I totally support these bans.

For the javascript menu's i had to do that because i cannot call myself as an expert in CSS I am a html guy But i start checking about css and probably i may change navigation menu to css if i will be able to do it good

The replacement of Turkish characters was an idea that came from me and thank to Oleg and Juan because they immediately applied it Why i choosed this because my members hated the url's and they start complaining about it a lot. My main concern is to supply what members want.

I know i definately need better onpage seo and i will check your thread immediately I wish i would be able to contract you for onpage SEO but currently i have no income from my site and trying to get the a job. I had a perfect meeting and waiting for the result. I hope i would get that because i was taking my time before working again and it had been 1 year. I finally decided to work because i had to

I am searching about SEO a lot and hope to increase my knowledge soon.
