At first glance, I'm not really clear about the theme of your forum. If you zero in on a niche theme, you might do better. If you already have one, it should be more obvious.

One way to make the theme stand out is to simply add a bold logo with catch phrase that instantly communicates your forum's theme, and also motivates visitors to take action, or directs them to high priority content that will catch their interest and convert them to customers.

Here you can see some example ideas I gave to another customer who had a more clear theme:

Here are same of the initial prototypes for a new professional logo for the site:

I think you should add some more descriptions to your sub-forums on the forum homepage.

If you don't already have our sitemap installed, you should add it.

You should add the welcome headers plugin and convert it to an image.

You should use our "Homepage Aliases" feature to ensure that the index.php version of your homepage forwards directly to /forums/

    Hi Joe,

Thanks for your opinion and suggestions.

1- The forum is general(However, the main theme is Computer/Internet security), that's why we tried to make it simple as we can, I will put it into consideration. Thanks

2- I will add more description to sub-forums, thnx

3- I have sitemap along with vbseo installed 1 month ago and it's doing well

4- Where to find "welcome header plugin"? I searched for it in this forum & vbulletin.org but i didnt find it, can you provide me with the link please?

5- I've enabled Homepage aliases features. Thanks a lot.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

I look forward to hearing about how the changes impact your forum.

Here is the welcome headers thread at vbulletin.org:
