    Thumbs down adult content

After a year using seo on my community I was asked to remove it from my site, You might have the idea what was the impact on the spiders.
Although there is no porn on my site, only nudes, vbseo was against it.
Now I have found a huge site hosting alot of explicit porn stuff and Im a bit confused. I have nothing against that site but we should be treated all equaly or vbseo will land in court one day.
I dont want to hear any bollocks about accessibility or paramedical aspects.. its adult or its not.
Dissapointing , cause my guess is its about number of visitors and promotion of vbseo..

Not sure about the second site, but it is possible that the site's content/topic has changed since they purchased their license.

For everyone else's benefit, if you find a site that you feel is violating vBSEO's EULA, or is using vBSEO illegally, please use the Contact Us form to let us know. We appreciate everyone's help.

    Thanks

    Maciek:

I checked the forums and there is no explicit pornographic content. There's a clear difference between sexual (or adult topics) discussion and pornography.

When your site was approved last year, it appeared as an adult community and no pornographic content was noticeable. It seems your forum has evolved to include explicit pornographic content which does not meet vBSEO's EULA.

Im not sure if you have seen the gallery on that site. Erected penis or enlargement masturbation vids are not something I would call not explicit.

And once again, no there is no and never was pornography on erozilla, not even nude males.

We may do periodic reviews, particulary for sites flagged with conditional or borderline approval. In general, this applies to forums that were very close to violating our EULA (Acceptable Usage Policy), but were passed at the time of review.

Many forum owners have been asked to remove or modify specific content prior to approval of their vBSEO license. Once they comply, they are given conditional approval, ensuring that their vBSEO license will not be revoked as long as the content in question is not added back to the forum.

IF a forum has a follow-up review, and is found to be violating our Acceptable Usage Policy, the vBSEO license will be revoked without refund only if the user refuses to make necessary adjustments.

To avoid this situation, we ask all customers to ensure that you stay in compliance:
vBSEO - Search Engine Friendly URLs for vBulletin and More

Interpretation of our Acceptable Usage Policy is at the sole discretion of Crawlability Inc. representatives. If you feel that your rejection is unfounded, we do welcome you to make an appeal (via PM) and/or request re-evaluation.

If you have a forum that you feel may not pass our EULA, please PM me for a pre-evaluation prior to making your purchase.

If you do discover a site that you feel is violating our EULA, please respect the privacy of the owner and forward the report to myself or any member of the vBSEO team via PM - rather than post in the public forums. We will do a follow-up investigation. In the event that the report is deemed valid, the vBSEO license of the forum with content in non-compliance with our Acceptable Usage Policy may be revoked.

While we respect your right to choose the topic and content of your forum, there are certain categories of information we do not intend to help promote in the search engines using our SEO technology.

Just another reason I respect this company and it's employees so much! There are just way too many companies and individuals in the world today that put the almighty dollar over sound moral principals and I applaud vBSEO for taking a stand and sticking to it

This just prove people using internet dont read , just shout what they have to say. You didnt read the whole thread, actually its about that vbseo was not "sticked to principals" and almighty dollar was something that made vbseo brake the rules. Either you cant read either you are so naive.

No, I can read just fine and your interpretation of what this thread is about is the wrong one. The vBSEO staff explained perfectly well how people's sites can slide through the system and find themselves in non-compliance, or just decide to ignore the EULA after having been approved such as yourself. BTW, I am not naive...I know trash when appears on my screen (ie; "no porn, just nudes")

This discusion is pointless.. not only you didnt noticed the part where I say that my content did not changed since aquiring license and approval, but also you cant see the difference between playb*y and hustl*r magazines, one of them is nude and the other is pr0n.
Im sure you are the only one that never looked for nudes on the web
    This is childish.
Id recommand to close this topic or even remove it.
    Best regards,
    Maciek
