Welp... Maybe a took a few beers to come out of my shell... I'm running two vbullletin forms for a couple of years now and recently added VBSEO to both along with several other mods. Granted they are pretty off the shelf with design. That will be my next focus with the forums. The good thing is that membership continues to grow and the members are very active. I'm looking forward to Wood Carving Illustrated breaking 100,000 posts with Scroll Saw Woodworking and Crafts soon to follow. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

very nice looking sites.

the first thing I notice is you have to many out bound links with all those archive links.. I would use the settings " only link to main forums" or something along those lines..

I read somewhere that you want to keep that right around 50

Speaking of the archive links, I would view the source of the footer and copy and past those links in the footer of your articles ( at least from the first site, i didn't look at the 2nd that long )

Thanks much for the tip. I took your advice and changed the setting to link to the Main Forum. In addition, I renamed some of the forums to be more keyword relevant. When referencing "articles" are you talking about the footer outside /forum/... On the non-vbulletin static Pages? Lastly, would there be any more benefit for the archive links to display the actual Forum Title instead of the Page #?
