What is my site map for my forum?

Hello guys, was wondering if anyone here can tell me what is my sitemap for my forum? i heard sitemap can help me boost search engine and page index any advice will be much appreciated..

Before i used to have like this page http://www.vbseo.com/sitemap/ but then after brandonsheley optimized my forum my sitemap is like this now honda street racing, honda jdm engines, automotive forum

the vBSEO Sitemap in Downloads sets it up and submits it to WMT automatically every day. Works great.
The sitemap.xml is totally different than you current sitemap.

I see.. so i should download that sitemap 3.0 gold and then submit it to my webmaster tool?

after i download it how do i upload it to my forum?

Hello,

After you download it you should upload the files and install the product (you can find installation instructions within docs (do not upload) folder-> readme.html).

The first time, you should generate and submit your sitemap index to your Google Webmaster Tools account:

http://www.yoursite.com/forum/sitemap_index.xml.gz

The plugin will automatically send a ping in future creation of sitemaps. Once you have installed it, please try to follow this guide before creating your sitemap, for better results and performance:

You're confusing the archive with an XML sitemap.

to my webmaster tool long time ago. but how would i know if the plugin will automatically send a ping in future creation of my sitemaps?

Yes, it will.

vBSEO tool has a reports section. You can view how many bots view it, download it, etc.

You likely are using an old version of our vBSEO Sitemap Generator tool, now called vBSEO Search Engine XML Sitemap. What Brandon Shelley did in your forum was just rename yoursite.com/archive/index.php to yoursite.com/sitemap/ (this is a setting available within vBSEO CP).

The Archive is a default vBulletin feature (see it in action: vBulletin Community Forum), and we advice our customers to not use it, as it is outdated and unhelpful for indexing content, it is not a kind of sitemap that can be send to Google Webmasters Tools. Instead of using vB's default Archive, we recommend you to use vBSEO Search Engine XML Sitemap, following this guide.

After you've installed it and generated your sitemaps, you should only submit your sitemap index, I mean: http://forums.tunedtech.ca/sitemap_index.xml.gz

If you have it instaleld already its probabyl an outdated version. Check your product list.
