Verifying your vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator is Installed Correctly

Hello,

please try to remove all *.gz files from vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder and regenerate sitemap, then resubmit it.

That is what I did as the previous post suggested

Please do the following :

Delete all your sitemap files located in vbseo_sitemap/data folder
Update your sitemap generator settings and make sure you choose not to include Showpost pages and Include Old urls option.
Regerate your sitemap files

Duplicate post same reply as Mert's suggest, removed.

I have done all that apart from the 'Include Old urls option' where is this option?

vBulletin Admincp > vBSEO Sitemap generator settings > If you have vBSEO, include old urls? Set to NO

How far down is it I can't seem to see it in my CP?

That option is removed within 2.6 .

I thought it had, so what can I try next to get my sitemap to validate in google? Using settings that are available in the new version?

Any updates on how to get sitemaps to work???

What you suggested doesn't exsist in my version so I did everything except the old URL process

Did you resubmitted your sitemap files to google after regenerating your sitemap files ?

I did and I'm still getting the same error...

Sitemap file size error
Your Sitemap exceeds the maximum file size limit. Please create multiple Sitemaps containing fewer URLs to meet the file size limit.

Which sitemap file is giving that warning and how many urls do you include in your sitemap files ?
