I have an older version of vbulletin. Please don't tell me to upgrade. It isn't possible right now because of the extent of the customizations on my site. I can only upgrade every few years.

I had been using vbseo sitemap with my site until I discovered a month ago or so that it wasn't effective. I was using v 1.5.

Apparently this older version of the sitemap doesn't format the sitemap the way that google loves it.

So I went to vb.org and found the newer version. The problem is that it doesn't work. Following the instructions, I only get errors.

My question: If the site map wasn't working and sending sitemap in format that Google doesn't love, does it just stop going to my site? I ask because I am banging my head trying to figure out why my page numbers are dropping in the index.

Any chance that the sitemap will be fixed for updated version for the older vb 3.0?
