vBseo - Old URL and google Webmaster Error 404

After a relatively trouble I managed to configure my site with vbseo. I went on google webmaster. I removed the old site map. And add the new one created by vbseomaps. But now, the old URL, are not found. Error 404. Are many. I can not remove them by hand one by one. And I can not even use the 301 redirect. Many are. And the errors all together?

How can I do? please help.

showthread.php URL's should automatically 301 to the new vbseo URLs.

A simple test on your site shows that it does work.

The urls will eventually drop out of webmaster tools.

Make sure your sitemap option for "is vbseo installed" is set to yes.

You should NOT touch those settings. vBSEO over-rides them. Importing the vbseo XML product file sets everything correctly.

It looks like that you were using Advanced Friendly URLs. vBSEO performs the redirect for "showthread" pages automatically, but not for "forumdisplay" pages.

In this case, you are required to add these rules to your .htaccess file (right below RewriteEngine On):

RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ([0-9]+)-[^/]+/page([0-9]+)
RewriteRule (forumdisplay\.php) vbseo.php?vbseourl=$1&f=%1&page=%2 [L]
