vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Genrator giving erro

Hi all,

I have installed vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap generator on my forum and when my reports are generated it gives this error Sitemap file not found and in the webmaster tools its showing these two sitemaps but both status are crossed in red
1.) /Sitemaps_vbseo/sitemap_index.xml.gz status (Red Cross)

2.) /sitemap.xml status (Red Cross)

also when a report is genrated in that report it mentions

Google ping: Successful.
Bing ping: Successful.
Yahoo ping: FAILED.
Ask ping: Successful.

need help in this.

Yahoo ping fail issue is directly related with Yahoo.
vBSEO doesn't have a sitemap.xml file

Make sure your htaccess file is in place correctly.

As you are a customer, if you've done the above, please open a ticket with login details for futher troubleshooting.

I got the same errors regarding Yahoo, guess it is related to the Yahoo Site Explorer Ping Webservice:

The APIs were scheduled to be shut down on March 2011, but the timeframe for this shut down has been extended for the YDN Site Explorer API's until September 15, 2011.

The issue is out of our hands. It is directly related with Yahoo.

Yeah, it looks like they have closed the service down. Nothing we can do about it at this time.
