    Question vBSEO 3.0.0 RC3 & vBSEO Sitemap 1.7 question

    Hello,

I'm testing vBSEO 3.0.0 RC3 & vBSEO Sitemap 1.7, which we are about to run starting from 8/1 on our site.

I just installed vBSEO Sitemap 1.7 and like it a lot.

Just one question regarding that setting:

When Google spiders the old url's, it gets 301'ed to the new url's so the old url's re removed from Google. Include this option until you note that most old url's have gone from Google.
In which cases does it make sense to activate this option?

I thought I don't want to submit old urls once vBSEO does it's magic?

    Thanks,
    Lian

If Google has a lot of your old URLs indexed already, that setting may help jumpstart Google into seeing that they have been re-written.

Ok, I see - so I'll let the setting on for a while.

    Thanks!
