Vbsem Sitemap is uploaded automatic to google?

HI guys!

I'm using vbseo sitemap addon.
I've submitted this url to google on december 31:

http://www.dpcgamers.com/forum_it/sitemap_index.xml.gz

I thought I must submit any change to google but it seems to be automatic is true?

on google sitemaps tools is written:

sitemap: sitemap_index.xml.gz Sitemap Index
Type:Web
Submitted: Dec 31, 2006
Last downloaded 8 hours ago
Sitemap status OK
URLs submitted 716

so I don't have to upload everytime my file?

Hello alek,

you should not manually resubmit your sitemap after that.
vBSEO Sitemap Generator automatically pings google when sitemap is updated.

So I don't have to do anything elase for google right?

You should manually submit urllist.txt.gz at http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request

Hi, I have a similar question. I manually submitted my sitemap to google and set up the software to run the sitemap at 2AM this morning on its own. I checked and the log shows that the new sitemap was created, but when I go to google and check, the last one in record was the one I manually submitted 17 hours ago. I also did not get an email saying that google was sent the sitemap though I did include my email address when setting up the modification. Should I be concerned, or is this normal? Thanks for your help.

Check the Sitemap Download Log on your vBSEO Sitemap menu. That will show when when it has been downloaded.

Oleg, thanks for the tip! From there it pointed me to https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com which is Yahoo's answer to Google's Webmaster Tools.
