Does the VBSEO sitemap automatically handle pages created using CMPS?

No,
You will need to use the addon's. There is one for vbseo_sm_vba.php available in the addons folder already. It may be outdated depending on your version.

Just include the script in vboptions -> vbseo sitemap options -> add on scripts
Just paste the file name in the block.

How do I know if it is outdated? And if so, where to get an up to date copy?

Honestly, i'm not sure.

If it doesn't error out when running (DB error),
Check your last sitemap file, addons process last. Check that the URLs it has for the vba areas are correct.

If all looks good, i would say you are ok. This was designed around vb3 and the vba for vb3. So if you're on vb4 and the vba that works with vb4, there may be some compatibility issues/table name issues.

vbseo_sm_vba.php
vbseo_sm_vba_links.php

If you use all 4 of those products....

downloads, downloads 2, vba, and vba Link directory.


You want to look in site.com/forum/sitemap_X.xml.gz where X is your highest number sitemap created to see if the urls in there are correct.

The files are actually in the vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder but we use mod_rewrite so you should only access the sitemaps from site.com/forum/sitemap_X.xml.gz format.

To find out what sitemaps you have look at the site.com/forum/sitemap_index.xml.gz file it has a link to all of the individual sitemaps so you can clickthrough/copy and paste the highest numbered map.

Addons are added last, so these pages will liekly be in your last sitempap_X.xml.gz file.
