    URL to submit to yahoo?

    What URL is it that we should submit to yahoo?

    I am trying:

    http://mysite.com/forums/sitemap_1.xml.gz

    and I am getting the following error message from yahoo:
    Your submission request was not accepted because:
    • The following resulted when trying to access your document: timeout
    Please correct and resubmit the form below.
    My guess is that I am submitting the wrong file?? Thanks

    the URL to submit to Yahoo is:
    http://mysite.com/forums/sitemap.txt.gz

    and you should try several times if you get timeouts for submission.

    I keep having the same problem and have been unable to submit to yahoo.

    Is it worth paying for submission to yahoo? Which methond would be the best?

    Bridges i had the same problem as you experiencing a timeout upon submission, aparantly this is a common issue with many people trying to submit via the free method. I havent paid for inclusion, but i am also perhaps considering it too.

    You have to keep clicking. Sometimes it works on 5-10 clicks and sometimes it takes hundreds. Its goofy that way but its normal and happens to many people. You just have to be persistent.
