Upgraded to version 2, do I need vB tasks

With previous versions, I had tasks set up to generate a site map. Is this necessary with version 2? I thought I remembered seeing something that said I should delete my tasks?

v2 will automatically create the task if you're uisng vBulletin 3.6.0 or higher. And, as the instructions say, you will need to delete the old task if you previously created it.
