    "Update Services"

    Update Services
    vBSEO can notify external services when your community publishes new threads and posts. These services work as Search Engines for the blogosphere and converging forumsphere.

    now this is a feature within vbseo, but it is needed in vbseo sitemap i recon...??

    so we can list sites such as
    Code:
    http://bblog.com/ping.php
    http://bitacoras.net/ping/
    http://blog.goo.ne.jp/XMLRPC
    to fetch the sitemap?

    Those services don't read your sitemap. They just take notifications of single posts.

    The update is sent in real time, at the time the post is created.

    "Update Services" is a vBSEO feature and is not related to sitemaps.

    vBSEO Sitemap Generator "pings" Google, Yahoo, Ask, Moreover and Live when sitemap is created.
