Uneven traffic, Please help.

I updated the new version but I'm having problems a month now, the average traffic is 10,000 per day but will have one or two days in a week reduced to 2000 and then rose back to normal.

Today traffic dropped down again, I do not understand why? Please help me.

Very recently huge database update happened. I follow several websites. I observed sudden drop 2 days ago. I think this is a temporary situation. The sudden drops usually happens big database updates. Google changes everyday (yes everyday) few things in google core algoritym. Sometimes small sometimes big changes happens.

Very thanks for your help. If it happens once in a month, no matter what, but I followed in October it happened 4 times, and today the problem occurred again. You can view pictures I posted.

You know every monday i have picks at bots numbersvisiting my forum. Actually it's because google handle things by "cron jobs". There is spesific times they handle web. It should be montly level or weekly level cronjobs within them. You should not wory too much.

I can tell you one sample incident. I had some how a problem with "sandbox" 3 years ago i noted the exact date when it happened. My traffic deathly lowered. And counted just 180 days. you know what exactly just after 180 days i observed the google bots are on my forum like before. If you note the dates it can help you to estimate next wawe. It's like wawes that your traffic from search engines. Most important wawes happens about 6 months. Your reputation increases, lower or does not change. This influences your long tail search traffic. I hope you get the picture.

You should certainly focus on developing more backlinks for your site. If it's automabile forum then you can target "car forum", "auto forums", "automobile forum", "car threads" and such keywords. They are forum searches and important and if you succeeed to rank well at such important keywords you get more targetted traffic. I suggest you to open new thread for your forum only so me and other can more widely advice.
