    Super question

I have had google, yahoo, msn and a few other spiders on my site, guess what not one has indexed anything. Now I really am considering removing all of vbseo from my site. Can anyone explain all this in laymens terms? Why has not one thing been indexed?

You need links to get indexed. Also the search engines take some time to trust the sites.

I will help you to index the site, but you have to get more links to increase the number.

my key word is OBX the Outer banks. I worked hard to get a page 1 ranking on yahoo. Under the keyword obx. I dont think vbseo is really doing what is is supposed to do. I have searched other vbulletin forums and poof i see lots of links from threads, some of them are even new sites without vbseo. I want the digg stuff removed from my threads and the furel thingies. I deleted the images but cant find ouot how to remove the link thinks. I guess my ship is still coming in I am not at all impressed as of yet with vbseo. If I get links why would I need vbseo? Spiders follow links right?

How strange. You don't even have your homepage indexed. Do you have any links to your site at all?

Did you have any pages indexed in the past?

    Are you running our sitemap?

Disable your social bookmarking feature in the vBSEO Control Panel (vbseocp.php).

If you've done anything SEO related in the past, you may have been penalized for some reason. If so, you can file a re-inclusion request. Here is a link with more info:

Your forum URL followed by /vbseocp.php, will get you access. You'll need to know the password.

Go to vbseocp > Social Bookmarking (vBSEO v.3.0.0 RC8) and set the dropdown to "Do not display icons".
