Submitting to other sites

Should we be submiting to sites other than google and yahoo? Like msn,tygo,entireweb...

Would the url we submit be the same as the one we submit to yahoo?

I would certainly consider submitting your website URL to as many search engines as you can find, and try keeping your site information similar as to not confuse users who may search across many search engines. You can use a program called Internet Business Promoter which submits your website to thousands of search engines easily.

its more important to get good links to your site from other important websites and all the search engines will find you themselves.

Do you use this? and do you use the paid or free version? I generally shy away from these things, but I would consider them if I knew someone was actually getting positive results from it.
