Submitting less frequently?

As it is currently set, a new sitemap is created and sent to google daily. Is there a way that I can change this to do it weekly? I'm concerned about Google thinking that my site is spamming them and blocking me. Has anyone run in to this?

You can adjust the scheduled task to run whenever you like, however, I've never had any issues submitting daily.

Besides you will have more indexed pages in Google if you have sitemap generator to run daily.
