Still no urls indexed . . .

Hi guys,

I installed vbseo sitemap generator a few weeks ago, then recently found out it wasn't working. Whoops

Anyway, now I confirmed with webmaster tools that Google received the sitemap, and it shows my submitted urls, but under "Indexed URLS" it says "No data available. Please check back soon," which it has said for a couple of days now (how long does that normally take?).

Also, only a few hundred of my URLS are indexed (all in the supplemental index except for the homepage), and these are pretty much just user profiles and empty calendar pages. Almost none of my threads are indexed (like less than 10).

Here are a few elements that might make my situation a little unusual:

I spent about a month loading some information onto my forum before anybody really came to it. This is because it was originally a membership site - that's another issue, because I've since made it free and open to everyone. Does the fact that these threads used to be private make it harder to get them indexed now that they are public? The number of submitted URLs indicates that the private URLs have also been submitted.

I feel like I must be doing something stupid to not be indexed at all - I've got relevant tags and meta tags, etc., and the site is relatively new but that new - started building in August, launched in September, made it all free and public about 10 days ago.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it took about 2 weeks before i started seeing indexed links in webmaster tools

and when they did show up it was 248, slowly they have been increasing last i checked i was up to 6000 indexed links

Yup, it's not instant. The first few weeks, not too much happens. by month 2, you should start to see the effects of vbseo in full swing.

Did you get your URLs indexd smaddle?
I'm looking forward to see how it works and if you really get visitors. Any URLs listed in google yet?

with or without vbSEO, Google seem to index parts of website not the whole site at once.
