So do I have to manually submit to Yahoo or not?

I selected the "Auto-Notify Yahoo" option
Put in my yahoo application ID

And ticked "Yes" to the "Generate Yahoo text sitemap"

In the third yahoo one "Generate Yahoo text sitemap" it mentions having to manually submit this one. But I thought in the above two it meant that they were going to be already automatically submitted.

So what's going on lol? Am I good without having to manually submit?

Hmmm, interesting. I thought it was more of a set it and forget it sort of thing.

So how often do you suggest manually submitting then?

Wait, so I see in the admin cp where to submit it via yahoo:

    http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request/

But where is this done via Google?

And I think I might have messed up the Yahoo one, as I just entered in my website url, but not a direct url to the text sitemap. Which one is needed?

Edit: I just went into my admin cp in the vbseo reports section and see that there is a sitemap URL for Google: http://www.gamingvidz.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz

But what is the one for Yahoo? And is that what I was supposed to submit to this url: http://submit.search.yahoo.com/free/request/?

(Now that I think of it, I probably shouldn't have just put in GamingVidz.com: Game. Share. Discuss.)

Anyway... off to do the Google one while I hear back about the Yahoo one.

    Hello,

you can submit the same xml sitemap ( http://www.gamingvidz.com/sitemap_index.xml.gz ) to both Yahoo and Google.
Google submissions is done in webmaster account:
