Smart and Custom Priority

Is it ok to use both smart priority and custom priority together? Will the smart priority still work? I have 1 small area of the forums that I want a .9 and the rest I don't care as much. I set it that way now so is that cool or will it mess-up smart priority?

It is an either / or setting. Both will not run. It is best to use smart priority as it takes into account reply counts, date of posts, etc. If you are using vb4 along with sitemap 3.6, you can set the section priority base in the vb sitemap priority area (link to that section are on the sitemap options pane).
