I checked the lines in the sitemap and it looks like they just have the priority tags <priority>with nothing here</priority>

Can you take a picture of your sitemap settings. Focus on the priority part.

His guide is for 2.2. You should remove the sitemap product from your admincp, and then reinstall it. Then delete all files ending in .gz in your vbseo_sitemap/data folder.
Next manually regenerate the sitemap and all should be fixed.The Forum Hosting - Forum Hosting from the Forum Experts
