Sitemap - how to add a link

    Hello,

How can I add a link to the vbseo sitemap? I searched into the options, but I couldn't find anything that could drive me to the answer.

I ask because in the sitemap there are the links of the forum (which is good), but the homepage link (vbadvanced) of the Information Security Forum is not present in the sitemap .... and the home page is just /index.php

    Please help,
    thank you

    Hello,

You can add urls maually via the extra_urls.txt file.

There are also add-on modules for VBA in the addons folder.

How should I install the add-on modules?

On the sitemap setting in the Addon Generator Modules box I pasted the names of the addons in this way:

    Code:
    vbseo_sm_vba_links
    vbseo_sm_vba
But nothing changed... nothing new appeared... where is the mistake?

You should enter the full name of the add-on file
    Code:
    vbseo_sm_vba_links.php
    vbseo_sm_vba.php

I did it, but nothing changed - should something really change, for example a new menu or option should appear or the only difference after adding those two modules will be visible only when the next sitemap will be generate - in the sitemap itself?

It will simply add urls to the sitemap. There is no visual change/menu.

Addons fire last, so check your last sitemap xml.gz file to see if they are adding correctly.

    Something very bad happened!!

I have clicked on "Run Sitemap Generator" and I received a database error message.

Now if I try to check the sitemap, I see that the sitemap isn't there anymore, it has been deleted.

The link of the sitemap was (also according to google webmaster) http://www.security-exchange.net/for...temap_1.xml.gz

If I try to re-build the sitemap clicking on "Run Sitemap Generator" I get the same error that I got the first time (or it seems):

Are you running the vba link directory? if not, you should remove the vba links add on from your sitemap options.

What is the vba link directory?

How do I know if I am running the vba link directory?

    Is that another plugin?

It is a separate paid product
    vBadvanced - Products

If you don't know what it is, odds are your didn't pay for it and aren't running it.

    Thank you, thank you!

I am running VBA CMPS, I don't have that one.
I removed the add-on, sitemap was generated, vba links were added.
