Sitemap errors and warnings

Here is my setting.


vBSEO Installed?
The sitemap generator is fully compatible with the vBSEO search engine optimization plugin.

Select "Yes" if you have vBSEO installed - as a result your sitemap will contain vBSEO's static CRUs (Content Relevant URLs).

If you have vBSEO, include old urls?
While vBSEO will automatically 301-redirect old (dynamic) URLs to the newly formatted static URLs, some users may opt to include the old URLs in the sitemap to ensure Google finds the redirect headers for each page. Include this option until you note that most old URLs have been purged from Google.

Specify the maximum number of URLs to be included in each sitemap file.

Select "Yes" to automatically notify Search Engines (Google, Yahoo, Ask, Moreover) of your updated sitemap each time it is generated.

NOTE: Notification is sent via a HTTP request to the SE servers.

Select "Yes" to automatically generate a text format sitemap with 1 URL per line.

Use this option to let sitemap generator "sleep" for specified number of seconds after each sitemap is generated. Use it if you experience forums slowdown during sitemap generation.

Sitemap Files URL
By default the vBSEO Sitemap files will be located in your forum root. Use this field to specify a different location, for example, your site root: http://www.yourdomain.com

NOTE: You must edit the .htaccess file of the folder in which you want to locate your sitemap files. More information here. Leave this setting empty to use default vB url.
