    Question Single Line SiteMap?

    Hello!

As usual, I broke something on my site.

I had submitted the sitemap to Google via Webmaster Tools about one week ago.
    All was good.
    There were about 7,000 URLs.
Then I read here a suggestion to NOT include everything.

So I set to include ONLY the following:
Show Thread Pages, Forum Display Pages, Blog Pages, CMS Pages
(( these are set to YES. All others are set to NO ))
(( this is in vB ACP >> vBSEO >> vBSEO Sitemap Settings ))

    So far, so good.
The URL count went down, which I realize is good because it's "quality vs quantity" (as stated elsewhere in this forum).

    My Question:::
vB ACP >> Options >> XML Sitemap
    Enable Automatic Sitemap Generation
    I set this to NO.

    Is this right?
vBSEO is enabled, so I believe this other setting should be set to NO.

Here is a link to my sitemap, which contains only one line.

Now, inside /forums/ there is no sitemap file.
    No /forums/sitemap_1.xml.gz << it isn't there.

    Did I mess up somewhere?
Or is some kind of redirect going on, redirect into /forums/vbseo_sitemap/data ??

Here is a Google Webmaster Tools screenshot:

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for the patience with me.
    It is very much appreciated!!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hello ,

There is nothing wrong with your sitemap files. sitemap_index.xml.gz is a general map that include all your sitemap files.

Sitemaps are located inside vbseo_sitemap/data folder and they are redirected via .htaccess code. It is normal for you not to see it within your forums folder.
