Should I install the Sitemap Generator 2.0?

I've been using vBSEO for a long time and it works perfectly on my site but after reading about the sitemap generator some users seem to have problems using it. Besides I read a few months ago that using the Google sitemap tool just brought problems to some webmasters and didn't increase their site traffic

I haven't read too much about this since then so I would like to know your opinion/experience and specially Oleg's one -who's always helping me with my site-

If you are running 3.0 Gold, you *must* update your sitemap to 2.0 - as mentioned in the Staff's signatures.

I have just installed the sitemap generator 2.0 but previously I wasn't using this mod.

Ahh, sorry, I misread your post.

It's a very useful tool. I'd wager most of the people using it are doing better in the SERPS than their counterparts who aren't.
