SE Bots Activity

The SE Bots Activity Log is empty .. How to turn it on and make it log the se activity ?

Hello,

make sure that you have SE Bots Activity logging enabled in vbseocp and your vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder has permissions set to 0777.

I can`t find anything about SE Bots Activity logging in the vbseocp !

It's called "Log Spider Activity in your Forums?" in the "Log & Tracking Options" section of the vBSEO control panel.

its turned on but SE Bots Activity logging is empty .. i got only Sitemap Generator History logging fine but not SE Bots Activity logging

Did you set the vbseo_sitemap/data/ folder to 0777?

yes the permissions is set to 0777 and both the Show Reports List and Show Sitemap Downloads Log are working fine and logging but the SE Bots Activity logging is empty ..

Please also check that vbseo_sitemap/data/hits/ folder has 0777 permissions as well.

there is no hits folder or any folder inside vbseo_sitemap/data ..

only the logs files and the site map .gz files

Create a folder called hits and chmod to 0777. I'm attaching a screenshot showing the folder path and the hits folder. Hopefully this will get it working for you.
