Robots.txt Question.

Please move to the appropriate section if posted on incorrect forum. I see Google is indexing individual posts (showpost?) from my forum in addition to showthreads. I made sure my sitemap only included showthreads and now I see posts like this all over Google:

http://mysite.com/345324/-post1.html

I have two questions:

1. What is the easiest way to instruct Google to not index individual posts? Robots? If so, what do I have to enter in it?

2. This is more of a vbulletin.com question but hopefully somebody can answer it here. If I decide to let Google index individual posts, do you know if there is any vbulletin ad template hook I can use to insert adsense in those posts? Adsense shows in the showthread posts but not when they are shown individually.

You can then add
Disallow: /pathtoforums/post*.html

in your robots.txt

2) no, it usese the postbit-template the same as showthread. you will need to template edit and hard code contionals. The best bet is to disable it as above.
