Removing Individual post URLs in sitemap

Hi all,
I'm new to vBSEO and I was wondering why we have the indivdual posts (standalone) URLs in the sitemap?

I'm talking about the URLs whiich are in the following format:
.../34177-post21.html

I think they should not be included in the sitemap as they just blow up the size of sitemaps and not to mention they create duplicate cotnent issue as the content of these URLs are also present in the Thread.

Does anyone agree with me?

Ys, you can (and should) disable showpost. I recommend only including showthread and forumdisplay in the sitemap for any site that has a good amount of posts.

Thanks Brian, that is what I thought. I've removed it. It will make life so easier now.
